It's My Time, Iceni Skye and Elite Panther collided soon after the start. Forever Merry and Another What collided approaching the first turn. It's My Time, Razzle Oak and Gentle Giant collided on the first turn checking Gentle Giant. Hi Ho Geronimo and Forever Merry collided on the first turn. It's My Time and Razzle Oak collided approaching the home turn. Hi Ho Geronimo and Forever Merry collided approaching the home turn checking Hi Ho Geronimo. Hi Ho Geronimo and It's My Time collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Iceni Skye eased and collided with Another What approaching the winning post checking Another What.
Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Gray, the representative of the greyhound Iceni Skye regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Iceni Skye was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to left hind foot, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Iceni Skye with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Gray pleaded guilty to the charge, Iceni Skye was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
