Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Gray, the representative of the greyhound Iceni Skye regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Iceni Skye was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to left hind foot, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Iceni Skye with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Gray pleaded guilty to the charge, Iceni Skye was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Winey Bago was a late scratching at 14:28 due to non arrival (GAR 31).  Trainer, Mr A Mooney notified Stewards that he had miscalculated his departure time to travel and would not be able to make kennelling.  Mr Mooney was fined the sum of $100 and no stand down period was imposed on the greyhound.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Scott, the trainer of Revin Kevin regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Revin Kevin last raced on 18th May 2017. Mr. Scott stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from a change of kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Revin Kevin trialled over the 390mt from box 5, weight 30.3kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.40, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 14L. Revin Kevin was not cleared.
