Steward's Report
Just Like Didda was slow to begin.
Soda Kid, Paraphernalia and Rumbling Bajooks collided approaching the first turn checking Paraphernalia and Rumbling Bajooks which lost ground. Crackerjack Choc eased on the first turn. Panda Rebel raced wide on the first turn.
Rumbling Bajooks was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Crackerjack Choc was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr J. Cooper, the trainer of the greyhound Crackerjack Choc regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Crackerjack Choc with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Cooper pleaded not guilty to the charge, Crackerjack Choc was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
