Lektra Kaycee crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Lilly An' Page and Kiss Me Putu.  Fierce Lomar raced wide approaching the home turn.  Benny Burrito eased approaching the home turn.  Benny Burrito and Madam Butterfly collided on the home turn severely checking Madam Butterfly which lost ground.  Madam Butterfly and Kiss Me Putu collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Stewards spoke to Mr C. Smith, the trainer of the greyhound Benny Burrito regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  Benny Burrito was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind toe, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Benny Burrito with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Smith pleaded guilty to the charge, Benny Burrito was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr S Collyer, kennel representative of St Paul regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  St Paul last raced on 16 June 2017. Mr Collyer stated that the greyhound was resuming from an injury to its right scapular. 

Mr S Collyer, kennel representative of St Paul declared a new weight of 28.1 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). St Paul last raced at 29.2 kg.

Mr R Taylor, trainer of Tarkedia Spring declared a new weight of 31.8 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Tarkedia Spring last raced at 30.2 kg.

Cruisy's Rose was quick to begin.  Yolk's Boy and Bluey Morgan were slow to begin.  

Bronte's Flyer and Bluey Morgan collided approaching the first turn checking Bronte's Flyer.  Zanzeedoo clipped the heels of Graphite Country on the first turn resulting in Graphite Country faltering and losing ground.  Graphite Country and Zanzeedoo collided in the home straight checking Zanzeedoo.

Graphite Country was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist sprain and right pencil injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Tarkedia Spring and Billy Moran were slow to begin and collided approaching the first turn checking Tarkedia Spring which raced wide and for the remainder of the event.  Zulu Fred and Sacred Miss collided on the first turn checking Sacred Miss.  Sacred Miss and Billy Moran collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Lektra Viki and Regazzoni collided in the home straight.  Sneak Preview and Lektra Viki collided in the home straight.  

Tarkedia Spring was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Destini Radar was quick to begin.

Aldrich and Below Deck collided approaching the first turn checking Nitro Value which fell.  Emerald Rainbow, Below Deck and Lektra Menzel collided on the first turn checking Lektra Menzel and Below Deck.  Aldrich raced in restricted room inside Destini Radar in the home straight.

Nitro Value was vetted following the event.  It was reported that that the greyhound sustained a right quadriceps injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Xtreme Caution checked off Looking Down approaching the first turn.  Xtreme Caution, Crackerjack Daza and Starbright Vic collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Looking Down crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Cloona Lass.  Cloona Lass, Xtreme Caution and Crackerjack Daza collided approaching the home turn checking Xtreme Caution.  Cloona Lass and Starbright Vic collided on the home turn.

Mr P Martinovic, kennel representative of Shinning Opal declared a new weight of 28.8 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Shinning Opal last raced at 29.9 kg.

Kraken Bolt was slow to begin.

Vectis Seyarda, Virgil, Belena Surf and Bera Na Liva collided soon after the start checking Virgil and Belena Surf.  Belena Surf crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Vectis Seyarda.  Kraken Bolt checked off Fast Freddie approaching the home turn.  Shining Opal raced wide on the home turn.  Cruisy's Lil and Bera Na Liva collided in the home straight.

Pamela Rocks was slow to begin.

Jim's Hotel, Duce Royal and Tiza Fabio collided on the first turn checking Jim's Hotel.  Jim's Hotel, Pamela Rocks and Zoro Bale collided on the first turn checking Zoro Bale which lost ground.  Agent Pa and Jim's Hotel collided approaching the home turn.  Pamela Rocks and Jim's Hotel collided on the home turn.

Zoro Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Just Like Didda was slow to begin.

Soda Kid, Paraphernalia and Rumbling Bajooks collided approaching the first turn checking Paraphernalia and Rumbling Bajooks which lost ground.  Crackerjack Choc eased on the first turn.  Panda Rebel raced wide on the first turn.

Rumbling Bajooks was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Cooper, the trainer of the greyhound Crackerjack Choc regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Crackerjack Choc with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Cooper pleaded not guilty to the charge, Crackerjack Choc was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ready And Armed was slow to begin.

Sena Bale, Nitro Nicole, Kiss Me Nicki and Ready And Armed collided approaching the first turn checking Ready And Armed.  Ready And Armed and Dyna Zad collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Nitro Nicole and Ready And Armed collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Corleone King was quick to begin.  Iceni Crusader was slow to begin.

Rosacky Blitz crossed to the rail approaching the first turn causing Peter Yap, Kumbia Lass, Iceni Outlaw and Iceni Crusader to collide, checking all greyhounds.   

Lunar Shadow, Valdar Bale and Our Flying Laura collided on the first turn checking Lunar Shadow and severely checking Valdar Bale and Our Flying Laura, Lunar Shadow raced wide as a result.  Ming Men Shen checked off Brienne in the home straight.  Dark Smiffy checked off Zenstar in the home straight.

Our Flying Laura's muzzle become dislodged during the running of this event.
