Stewards spoke to Mrs J. Brooks regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Row Tay Tom. Stewards directed that Row Tay Tom be boxed first in future events.

Jayanti was quick to begin.  One Way Ticket was slow to begin.

Aye Milo and Freddie Rawson collided approaching the first turn.  Freddie Rawson and Hollywood Nights collided on the first turn.  Emma's Sparrow and Freddie Rawson collided on the home turn. Jayanti lost ground in the home straight.  One Way Ticket galloped on Kelly's Style approaching the winning post severely checking both greyhounds, Kelly's Style fell as a result. 

Jayanti was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

One Way Ticket was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right front foot, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Kelly's Style was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right thigh injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

This event was delayed by approx. 1 minute due to the boxes opening when the amber light was turned on. The starter manually activated the trip on the rail and the event proceeded without further issue.

Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Nosey trialled over the 400mtrs from box 2, weight 35.1kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.84, the greyhound won by a margin of a head. Nosey was Cleared To Race In Blinkers.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Sisco Knight trialled over the 400mtrs from box 8, weight 32.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.84, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.5 lengths. Sisco Knight was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Steinbeck Knew trialled over the 400mtrs from box 1, weight 31.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 5th in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.84, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 9 lengths. Steinbeck Knew was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Merinda Hannah trialled over the 400mtrs from box 4, weight 24.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.84, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of a head. Merinda Hannah was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr B. Dewan, the trainer of Dewana Dimie regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Dewana Dimie last raced on 24th February 2017. Mr Dewan stated that the greyhound was returning from a right rear inside toe injury.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Dewana Dimie trialled over the 400mtrs from box 6, weight 32.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.84, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.25 lengths. Dewana Dimie was Cleared.
