Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter P. Nicholls did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Acting on a phone call from Trainer Ms M.Mason, the greyhound Race Roquette was a late scratching at 2:48pm due to a vehicle breakdown, no penalty was applied.
The start of this event was delayed by approximately 3 minutes due to Stewards inspecting the track prior to this event due to heavy rain and requested the tractor complete an extra circuit of the track.
Olfina Allen was quick to begin. Tomdor, Wishes Fulfilled, El Grand Knocka and Just Banji were slow to begin. Wishes Fulfilled and El Grand Knocka collided soon after the start checking Wishes Fulfilled. Tomdor, Wishes Fulfilled and Who's Irod collided on the first turn checking Wishes Fulfilled and Who's Irod. Olfina Allen and El Grand Knocka collided several times on the home turn. Tomdor raced wide approaching the home turn, on the home turn and again entering the home straight.
