Steward's Report

A pre-race sample was taken from Dundee Ally upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

A pre-race sample was taken from He Shall Johnny.

Zipping Vito and Our Mate Wilson were slow to begin.

He Shall Johnny and Merc collided soon after the start.  Merc and Tarree's Ruslie collided approaching the first turn checking Tarree's Ruslie.  Merc, Tarree's Ruslie and Our Mate Wilson collided on the first turn.  He Shall Johnny, Tarree's Ruslie and Our Mate Wilson collided on the first turn checking Tarree's Ruslie and Our Mate Wilson, Merc raced wide as a result.  Tarree's Ruslie raced wide approaching the second turn checking Our Mate Wilson and Merc.  He Shall Johnny checked off Form A Circle on the home turn.  Merc raced wide in the home straight.

Tarree's Ruslie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left hindleg, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
