Glenda Kingy galloped on the heels of Flying Sam approaching the first turn. Dyna Evelyn and Black Spyro collided several times on the first turn checking Dyna Evelyn which stumbled and checking Black Spyro; both greyhounds raced wide as a result. It's A Kiss, Mahi Indian, Glenda Kingy and Ronray Legend collided on the first turn. Flying Sam and Ronray Legend collided on the first turn. Dyna Evelyn and Giant Bale collided approaching the second turn. It's A Kiss galloped on Flying Sam in the back straight. It's A Kiss, Flying Sam, Mahi Indian, Glenda Kingy and Black Spyro collided on the third turn. Ronray Legend raced wide in the home straight.

Black Spyro was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn left hind toenail, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Hadria and Right On Cue collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Hadria, Right On Cue and Nymphadora Tonks collided on the first turn. Oshkosh Wayne checked off Oshkosh Erny Vee approaching the second turn. Oleg checked off Oshkosh Wayne entering the back straight. Right On Cue and Oshkosh Wayne collided on the home turn checking Right On Cue which collided with Dyna Hadria. Right On Cue checked off Oshkosh Wayne entering the home straightand collided with Dyna Hadria, checking Dyna Hadria and severely checking Right On Cue. Right On Cue and Nympadora Tonks approaching the winning post.

Liebig Street and Off And On were slow to begin. Liebig Street and Off And On collided soon after the start checking Liebig Street. Liebig Street checked of Very Choosy on the first turn. Very Choosy and Destini Laredo collided on the first turn and entering the front straight. Spring To Wyn checked off My Name's Red entering the front straight. Spring To Wyn, Very Choosy, Off And On and Destini Laredo collided in the front straight severely checking Very Choosy and Destini Laredo and severely checking Off And On which stumbled and lost considerable ground. My Name's Red, Liebig Street and Spring To Wyn collided on the home turn. My Name's Red and Liebig Street collided entering the home straight. Liebig Street and Spring To Wyn collided in the home straight checking Spring To Wyn.

Pupetta Maresca was quick to begin. Destini Scorcher, Gehring Bale, Share and Jeebus Bird collided approaching the first turn. Lunar Eclipse checked off Moonlit Wings on the first turn. Pupetta Maresca and Gehring Bale collided on the home turn and entering the home straight checking Gehring Bale. Lunar Eclipse tired in the home straight. 

Lunar Eclipse, which performed below market expectations was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Moneypenny and Sooty Epsom were slow to begin. Chezzy Allen checked off Not Available approaching the first turn. Moneypenny checked off Chezzy Allen approaching the first turn. Moneypenny checked off Cheese Ya Later on the first turn. Cheese Ya Later and Sooty Epsom collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Chezzy Allen checked off Rockstar Troy entering the home straight.

Sooty Epsom was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Southwood Max and Alpha Nyx collided approaching the first turn checking Southwood Max. Southwood Max galloped on the heels of Big Daddy Bee approaching the first turn. Sergei and Black Impala collided on the first turn checking Black Impala. Big Daddy Bee and Sergei collided on the first turn. Southwood Max, Alpha Nyx, Big Daddy Bee, Sergei and Black Impala collided approaching the second turn and on the second turn checking Alpha Nyx, Southwood Max and Black Impala. Southwood Max and Alpha Nyx collided on the third turn checking Alpha Nyx. Oshkosh Expert checked off John John Lava on the fourth turn. Big Daddy Bee and Sergei collided on the home turn.

One Plus Two was a late scratching at 6.39pm due to non-arrival. Trainer Ms A Powell contacted Stewards much earlier and advised that her vehicle had broken down on the way to the course, which was confirmed. As such, no stand down penalty was imposed.

Lektra Forrest and Tanoan Creek collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Chasin' Crakers, Mystery Ride and Joffa's Old Girl collided on the first turn. Mystrey Ride and Joffa's Old Girl collided on the first turn checking Joffa's Old Girl. Lektra Forrest and Tanoan Creek collided entering the back straight checking Lektra Forrest.

Trainer Mr J Mangion of Become The Fuse declared a new weight of 30.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Become The Fuse last raced at 31.9kg.

Allen Kelvin and Blue Gum Hill were slow to begin. Deadline To Meet, Become The Fuse and Invictus Rapid collided approaching the first turn checking Become The Fuse. Deadline To Meet, Invictus Rapid and Zambora Beau collided on the first turn checking Invictus Rapid. Allen Kelvin checked off Invictus Rapid approaching the second turn. Become The Fuse and Invictus Rapid collided on the second turn severely checking Become The Fuse. Deadline To Meet and Aston Dinnigan collided on the home turn and in the home straight straight checking Aston Dinnigan.

Barnes Banana was a late scratching at 3.19pm due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Fool Proof.

Barry Bomber and Fool Proof collided several times on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Barry Bomber checked off Fool Proof entering the front straight. Teflon Tony, Dash Of Rose and Our Turbo Boy collided on the second turn severely checking Teflon Tony and Our Turbo Boy and severely checking Dash Of Rose which fell and checked Barry Bomber as a result.

Dash Of Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that that there was no apparent injury found.

The Stewards caused the warning signal to be broadcast and advised the TAB to hold all tickets after Telerah Flash (4) fell approaching the winning post on the first occasion and proceeded back into the path of the oncoming field. Notably, the lure was observed to be driven at a distance far in excess to the prescribed manner from around the 600m boxes onwards. After deliberation, the Stewards were not satisfied that the positioning of the lure to the lead greyhound, did not affect the outcome of the race. Accoringly, a No-Race was declared. All bets were refunded, prizemoney will be split between the eligible participants and the official weights for these greyhounds was voided.

Telarah Flash was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right fore webbing, right calf and right triangle muscles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Jacy checked off Kalani Klare entering the back straight checking Lady Charlotte and Made First. Warrion Warrior, Liam and Luck's Run Out collided entering the back straight. Warrion Warrior and Liam collided on the home turn and in the home straight.
