Beluga Diamond was quick to begin. Maderra and Emi's Boy Murph were slow to begin.
So Far Away and Miss Kirteish collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Kirteish. Maderra and Miss Kirteish collided on the first turn checking Maderra, Emi's Boy Murph and severely checking Miss Kirteish. Tekki Lightning checked off Fiesty Ivy approaching the home turn. Maderra checked off Emi's Boy Murph approaching the home turn causing Maderra to race wide. Miss Kirteish and Emi's Boy Murph collided on the home turn checking Miss Kirteish. Maderra raced wide in the home straight.

As advised on Fasttrack Track Manager, Mr T Godfrey notified stewards that the track had a medium harrow on Tuesday 22 August, 2017.
Rockoon was re-vetted at the conclusion of kennelling, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found and was cleared fit to race.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Ellisa's Oath trialled over the 311mtrs from box 3, weight 27.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 18.70, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.75 lengths. Ellisa's Oath was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Khawaja trialled over the 311mts from box 2, weight 29.9kgs, the greyhound was placed 5th in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 18.70, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 9.25 lengths. Khawaja was Cleared.
