Tobacco Leaf was slow to begin.
Paradiso lass checked off Zara's Entity soon after the start. Petadale, Shadale and Noaki Colour collided soon after the start. Petadale galloped on Wadelock Sampson approaching the first turn severely checking Wadelock Sampson which fell and checked Tobacco Leaf as result. Paradiso Lass, Petadale and Shadale collided approaching the first turn. Petadale checked off Paradiso Lass on the second turn. Paradiso Lass checked off Noaki Colour in the home straight.
Wadelock Sampson was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Samples were taken from placegetters - Zara's Entity (1st), Perceptive (2nd) and Noaki Colour (3rd).
Stewards issued a reminder of responsibilities to Mr B. Greenough for failing to engage a catcher for his greyhound Zara's Entity in this event.
