Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Greysynd Ash upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Greysynd Ash checked off Pupetta Maresca soon after the start. Billiluna, Scott Finesse and Cruisy's Lil collided on the first turn, checking Billiluna, Scott Finesse, Cruisy's Lil and Jeebus Bird. Scott Finesse and Cruisy's Lil collided on the second turn, checking Cruisy's Lil. Scott Finesse and Jeebus Bird collided on the third turn. Greysynd Ash checked off Solo on the home turn. Solo and Cruisy's Lil collided on the home turn. Jeebus Bird checked off Cruisy's Lil on the home turn, severely checking Greysynd Ash which fell as a result.
Greysynd Ash was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture of the left radius. A 90-day stand down period was imposed.
