Steward's Report
Aeroplane Tippa was quick to begin. Dr. Noely and Crystal Bling were slow to begin.
Blackhawk Dee, Blackberry Nip, Cruisy's Rose and Poke The Bear collided soon after the start, checking all four greyhounds. Dr. Noely and Crystal Bling collided approaching the first turn. Blackhawk Dee checked off Zoobie on the first turn, severely checking Dr. Noely and Crystal Bling; as a result, Dr. Noely fell and Crystal Bling was tailed off. Cruisy's Rose and Poke The Bear collided on the first turn, on the second turn and again entering the back straight. Poke The Bear checked off Cruisy's Rose on the third turn.
Dr. Noely was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration under the chin. A five-day stand down period was imposed.
Crystal Bling was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.
