Steward's Report
Slingshot Sambo was quick to begin. Macfid Magic, Big Tilly and Shy Diva were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Macfid Magic and Big Tilly collided approaching the first turn checking Macfid Magic. Dorrigo Bale and Black Lesta collided on the first turn checking Black Lesta. Zephyric clipped the heels of Black Lesta on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Shy Diva and Winter's Glow collided entering the home straight checking Winter's Glow. Macfid Magic and Black Lesta raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
Macfid Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Black Lesta was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right achilles, no stand down period was imposed.
