Steward's Report
Sariah Allen was quick to begin. Destini Cheetah and Wishing Angel were slow to begin.
Mr. No Worries and One Step Ahead collided soon after the start checking both greyhound. Mr. No Worries, Banjo Fever and Destini Cheetah collided approaching the first turn checking Banjo Fever. Mr. No Worries and Destini Cheetah collided on the first turn checking Destini Cheetah. Destini Cheetah and Karaoke Ken collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Wishing Angel and Mr. No Worries collided in the home straight.
Directly following the running of the event, the lure driver notified Stewards that the lure was unresponsive in certain sections of the race, in particular as the lure was approaching the catching pen. Stewards along with Track staff assessed the lure carriage and remedial work was undertaken. The lure was tested to the satisfaction of the lure driver and Stewards.
One Step Ahead was vetted following the event after contacting the catching pen gate. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
