Nareen was quick to begin.  

Nareen and Big Butterbean collided soon after the start.  My Girl Lois checked off Gestalt Allen soon after the start.  Nareen checked off Gestalt Allen approaching the first turn severely checking Nareen and Big Butterbean which severely checked Woodleigh Guy.  Santana checked off Woodleigh approaching the first turn.  Nareen and My Girl Lois collided approaching the first turn checking Nareen.  Nareen and Santana collided on the third turn checking Santana.  Nareen and My Girl Lois collided approaching the winning post.  Big Butterbean eased approaching the home turn and tailed off.

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Bartlett, the trainer of the greyhound Big Butterbean regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Big Butterbean was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left triangle and abrasion to the left stopper, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Big Butterbean with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Bartlett pleaded guilty to the charge, Big Butterbean was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Row Tay Tom and Smooth Jinx collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Lady Bullseye, Maggie's Alone, Row Tay Tom, Smooth Jinx, Newfire Drewie and Rapanui Revival collided on the first turn checking Row Tay Tom and Rapanui Revival causing both greyhounds to race wide. Row Tay Tom and Newfire Drewie raced wide in the back straight.  Lady Bullseye and Newfire Drewie collided entering the home straight.  Row Tay Tom raced wide in the home straight.

Hollywood Nights was quick to begin.  Ishmy Gloria and Pacific Power were slow to begin.

Ishmy Gloria and Shae's Intention collided soon after the start.  Motown Mac and Bont's Magic collided soon after the start.  Pacific Power and Motown Mac collided on the first turn.  Hollywood Nights and Shae's Intention collided approaching the second turn with Hollywood Nights losing ground as a result.  Motown Mac checked off Bont's Magic on the second turn.  Motown Mac and Pacific Power collided entering the back straight.  Joraddi faltered entering the back straight and lost ground.  Ishmy Gloria checked off Shae's Intention on the third turn.  Pacific Power raced wide in the home straight.

Joraddi was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle, a 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

Hollywood Nights was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Orataya crossed in soon after the start and collided with Gaza's Rooster.  Kyante, Ruby Red Eden and Gaza's Rooster collided soon after the start.  Gaza's Rooster checked off Kyante on the first turn checking Cloe's Intention.  Orataya checked off Pancake on the second turn.  Ruby Red Eden checked off Gaza's Rooster on the second turn.  Miss Thursday and Gaza's Rooster collided entering the back straight.  Cloe's Intention and Orataya raced wide in the back straight.  Orataya checked off Cloe's Intention on the third turn.  Miss Thursday and Gaza's Rooster collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Excelencia, Lochinvar Rox and Wadelock Sampson collided soon after the start.  Lochinvar Rox and Thumb A Ride collided approaching the first turn checking Thumb A Ride.  Sports Knight checked off Oronsay approaching the first turn.  Teggernaut raced wide on the first turn.  Excelencia and Lochinvar Rox collide on the first turn.  Excelencia checked off Sports Knight on the third turn.  Oronsay checked off Thumb A Ride on the third turn.  Oronsay raced wide on the third turn.  Excelencia and Oronsay collided several times on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Teggernaut was vetted and re-vetted following event 11.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
