Steward's Report
Jimmaringle and Kostya Nuffen were slow to begin. Jimmaringle and Fawntastic Kate collided soon after the start. Rubba Wilson, Jimmaringle, Fawntastic Kate and Little Bit Shiny collided approaching the first turn, checking Rubba Wilson. Alannah's Gem raced wide to the first turn. Fawntastic Kate and Little Bit Shiny collided on the first turn. Little Bit Shiny, Fawntastic Kate and Rubba Wilson collided on the home turn, checking Rubba Wilson. Fawntastic Kate and Little Bit Shiny collided entering the home straight. Alannah's Gem raced wide in the home straight. Fawntastic Kate and Little Bit Shiny collided several times in the home straight.
Fawntastic Kate was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right foreleg monkey, right hindleg split webbing, left and right hindleg thigh, left and right hindleg pencil/whip, left and right hindleg triangle injuries, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke and issued a warning to trainer, Mr S.Collyer, to be more circumspect in the future, following Mr Collyer returning his greyhound Alannah's Gem to the incorrect kennel post-race.
