Zara's Entity was quick to begin. Myrniong Blaster, Golden Warrior, Sooty Epsom and Warrion Warrior were slow to begin. Sooty Epsom and Warrion Warrior collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Crump's Beauty, Quartz Vein, Golden Warrior, Sooty Epsom and Warrion Warrior collided on the first turn checking Quartz Vein, Golden Warrior and Sooty Epsom. Myrniong Blaster and Warrion Warrior collided approaching the second turn. Golden Warrior and Sooty Epsom collided on the second turn. Myrniong Blaster and Warrion Warrior collided on the second turn checking Quartz Vein. Myrniong Blaster checked off Warrion Warrior entering the back straight causing Golden Warrior to clip the heels of Myrniong Blaster as a result.
