Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Urana Smacko upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Counting Pennies, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Counting Pennies, Winlock Hadley and Hollywood Nights were slow to begin. Winlock Hadley, Proven Eddie and Hollywood Nights collided soon after the start, checking Winlock Hadley and Hollywood Nights. Winlock Hadley raced wide on the first turn, checking Hollywood Nights. Proven Eddie checked off Osakalaka approaching the third turn, checking Urana Smacko. Osakalaka and Urana Smacko collided in the home straight.
Hollywood Nights was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right deltoid muscle and left pencil muscle, a seven day stand down period was imposed.
