Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Stefanos, the trainer of Patty's Prince regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Patty's Prince last raced on 31st March, 2017. Mr Stefanos stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right triangle muscle Injury.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Top Alcohol and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 11:20AM due to weight variation (GAR 39). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Gavin Gledhill was fined the sum of $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Silver Banjo.
Bubsy John and Patty's Prince were slow to begin.
Glen Mika and Grand Hero collided soon after the start.
