Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Stefanos, the trainer of Winlock Donatelo, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Winlock Donatelo last raced on 22nd March, 2017. Mr Stefanos stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right wrist injury.
Don's Gas and Just Teefa were slow to begin.
Winlock Donatelo and Beckio Fozzio collided at the 250m mark. Way Things Are and How's It Thunder collided at the 150m mark. Way Things Are and Winlock Donatelo collided approaching the winning post.
Little Barci was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left tensor fascia (triangle) muscle and spike wounds to the right foot and left hind achilles. A five-day stand down period was imposed.
