A pre-race sample was taken from It's A Plan.
Unbackable, Doc's Reward and Bombora Comet were quick to begin. Little Tacka was slow to begin.
Bombora Comet, Intensify and Fuelish collided on the first turn. Intensify checked off Fuelish on the first turn and collided with Little Tacka and It's A Plan checking both greyhounds. Limburg Gunna checked off Doc's Reward on the first turn and collided heavily with Bombora Comet. Bombora Comet and Intensify collided heavily approaching the second turn, Intensify stumbled and lost considerable ground as a result. Bombora Comet and It's A Plan collided approaching the second turn. Bombora Comet and Little Tacka collided approaching the second turn. Doc's Reward and Fuelish collided approaching the second turn.
Intensify was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left and right deltoid injuries, a 5 stand down period was imposed.
