Steward's Report

Diamond Ruby, Agent's Choice and Destini Rocket were quick to begin.  Crackerjack Nath was slow to begin.

Miss Judge and Leo Jet collided soon after the start. Leo Jet and Argus Filch collided soon after the start. Crackerjack Nath checked off Miss Judge approaching the first turn and collided with Leo Gift.  Leo Gift and Argus Filch collided on the first turn.  Diamond Ruby checked off Destini Rocket on the first turn.  Crackerjack Nath and Miss Thursday collided on the first turn.  Argus Filch crossed out and collided heavily with Crackerjack Nath on the first turn severely checking Crackerjack Nath, causing both greyhounds to race wide. 

Argus was vetted and re-vetted following event four.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left and right deltoid and a laceration to the right front foot, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Chapman, the representative of the greyhound Argus Filch.  Stewards considered the injuries sustained to the greyhound and deemed the performance of Argus Filch unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Argus Filch must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
