Steward's Report
Mrs. J. McDowall, trainer of Jemma's Fantasy declared a new weight of 26.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Jemma's Fantasy last raced at 27.5kg.
Mr. J. Shaw, trainer of Calvadoss declared a new weight of 32.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Calvadoss last raced at 33.3kg.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. McDowall, the trainer of Jemma's Fantasy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Jemma's Fantasy last raced on 19th February 2016. Mrs. McDowall stated that the greyhound was recovering from a laceration to the right hind foot.
Jemma's Fantasy was quick to begin. Transcend was slow to begin. Drop Freddy was very slow to begin (3 Lengths). Burch Day checked off Mister Limbo on the first turn, and collided with Calvadoss and Drop Freddy. Burch Day checked off Drop Freddy approaching the home turn. Calvadoss raced wide entering the home straight.
