Steward's Report
The Club Manager, Mr J Brilliant, advised that the track was top dressed, graded and power harrowed on Wednesday, 18 May 2016.
Proven Malibu and Who Took Johny were quick to begin. Be To Bomber and Spring Kitty collided soon after the start. Blanco Canyon and Spring Kitty collided approaching the first turn. Blanco Canyon and Spring Kitty collided on the first turn, checking Spring Kitty which collided with Atomiser, resulting in Atomiser and Lektra Destiny being checked and causing Spring Kitty to fall.
Spring Kitty was vetted following the event. It was reported the greyhound suffered bruising to the right hindleg metatarsal and injured left hindleg groin. A five day standown period was imposed.
