Jetmag Gemstone and Richo Richo Girl were quick to begin.  Dollar Rose was slow to begin.  Dollar Rose contacted the running rail soon after the start.  Why Not Becky and Gym Boots collided entering the back straight checking Why Not Will.  Why Not Becky and Richo Richo Girl collided entering the home straight and again approaching the winning post.  Jetmag Gemstone and Dr. Double Malt collided approaching the winning post.

Zipping Silva and Destini Spark were slow to begin.  Zipping Comet crossed in soon after the start and collided with Far Out Indian checking Destini Spark and Zipping Silva.  Retro Flyer and Lord Somersby collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Comet and Cheerful Scout collided on the first turn.  Retro Flyer was checked off Cheerful Scout in the back straight.  Zipping Comet and Kayo King collided approaching the home turn.

Sunset Senorita was slow to begin.  Lauren Kasey, Falcao and Amlin Jewel collided on the first turn checking Laren Kasey and Sunset Senorita, severely checking Star's Big Boy and causing Soda Storm to fall.  Lauren Kasey, Californa Levo and Beauty Sleep collided on the first turn checking Star's Big Boy, Lauren Kasey, Beauty Sleep and Sunset Senorita.  Amlin Jewel and Californa Levo collided several times entering the home straight.

Soda Storm was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Elswyk Max was quick to begin.  White Diamond and Kelly Hook were slow to begin.  Atari Flash and Irish Mobster collided soon after the start.  Atari Flash and Dundee Calypso collided approaching the first turn.  Atari Flash, White Diamond, Dundee Calypso and Kelly Hook collided on the first turn severley checking Pink Rocket.  Elswyk Max was checked off Irish Mobster on the first turn checking White Diamond and Dundee Calypso and severely checking Atari Flash and Kelly Hook which raced wide.  Dundee Calypso was checked off Elswyk Max on the second turn.  Dundee Calypso galloped on Elswyk Max entering the back straight and again in the back straight checking Elswyk Max.  Atari Flash galloped on Dundee Calypso approaching the third turn.  Elswyk Max tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Elswyk Max was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left triangle muscle,a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Andrej's and Dr. Toretto were slow to begin.  Andrej's, Coogan's Regret and Fantasy McQueen collided soon after the start checking Andrej's.  Headline crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Three Day Shadow, Fantasy McQueen, Dr. Toretto and Andrej's and severely checking Blingified, Mumma Hook and Coogan's Regret.  Mumma Hook lost considerable ground.

Mumma Hook was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Blingified was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn nail on the left hind foot, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards downgraded the track to slow following this event.

Kokoda Eclipse was slow to begin.  Leopardstown crossed in soon after the start checking Amaroo Crack It.  Leopardstown, Fear The Boss and Miata Gold collided on the first turn checking Leopardstown.  Kokoda Eclipse raced wide approaching the second turn.  Nitro Princess was checked off She's A Collinda on the third turn.  Miata Gold raced wide in the back straight.  Nitro Princess and Amaroo Crack It collided in the home straight.

Miata Gold was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Precipitation, Ripper and Charm Again were slow to begin.  Why Not Jojo, Charm Again and Ripper collided on the first turn checking Charm Again.  Precipitation, Anberlin and Marciarno Miss collided on the first turn.  Dr. Sherlock and Precipitation collided entering the back straight.  Anberlin was checked off Betty Baker on the third turn.  Ripper marred Betty Baker on the home turn causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Dr. Sherlock and Anberlin collided approaching the winning post.

Ripper was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Chatwin the representative of the greyhound Ripper regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Ripper with marring. Mr. Chatwin pleaded guilty to the charge, Ripper was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Greysynd Chief was quick to begin.  Zipping Gator was slow to begin.  Arejay Belle and Zipping Gator collided soon after the start.  Allen Kempo was checked off Greysynd Chief approaching the first turn.  Arejay Belle galloped on Sir Reuben on the first turn checking Sir Reuben and Zipping Gator and severely checking Arejay Belle.  Ulla was checked off Come At Me approaching the home turn.  Ulla was checked off Allen Kempo approaching the home turn.

Astromatic and Miss Tron were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Phil's In Luck crossed in approaching the first turn checking Astromatic and Miss Tron.  Compelling, Aston Sprite and Phil's In Luck collided on the first turn checking Little Pookie and Miss Tron and severley checking Red Cadillac, Aston Sprite and Astromatic, Astromatic lost considerable ground.  Compelling and Phil's In Luck collided entering the back straight checking Compelling.  Little Pookie and Miss Tron collided approaching the second turn.  Rylee's Ring In and Phil's In Luck collided on the second turn.

Dr. Brandon and Henry Lee collided soon after the start.  Unimaginable, Wadelock Juliet and Make That Call collided several times approaching the first turn checking Unimaginable and Wadelock Juliet.  Our Miss Nitro, Apollo's Twin and Dr. Brandon collided approaching the first turn checking Unimaginable, Wadelock Juliet and Henry Lee.  Dr. Brandon, Apollo's Twin and Our Miss Nitro collided on the first turn checking Our Miss Nitro.  Henry Lee was checked off Our Miss Nitro on the first turn.  Wadelock Juliet, Henry Lee and Our Miss Nitro collided on the second turn checking Wadelock Juliet and Henry Lee.

Wrong Given Way was slow to begin.  Tricky Trey and Project Boy collided soon after the start.  Jules' Fancy crossed to the rail on the first turn severely checking Project Boy, Implosion Liam, Tricky Trey and Beyond Today, Beyond Today stumbled.  Aston Regas and Jules' Fancy collided on the first turn checking Jules' Fancy.  Project Boy was checked off Tricky Trey in the back straight.  Implosion Liam was checked off Project Boy approaching the second turn.

Project Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right wrist, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Beyond Today was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle and left chest, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr A Paraskevas, the trainer of Pretty Machine regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Pretty Machine last raced 22 December, 2016 and is returning to racing following a right hind toe amputation.

Dodge The Cop and Our Miss Deena were quick to begin.  All About Arby was slow to begin.  Rusty Boy, Zamlee Magic and Sugar Bang collided soon after the start checking Sugar Bang.  Zamlee Magic and Sugar Bang collided ont he first turn checking Sugar Bang.  Rusty Boy galloped on Our Miss Deena in the back straight severely checking Our Miss Deena.  Our Miss Deena and Sugar Bang collided on the second turn checking Sugar Bang.  Rusty Boy and Zamlee Magic collided on the second turn and again approaching the home turn.
