Steward's Report
Danger Bale was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Dyna Nana and Coo Coo Coconuts collided soon after the start. Tinker Bob and Proviso collided soon after the start. My Waverly Queen and Tinker Bob collided approaching the first turn. Proviso and Allen Gantz collided on the first turn. Dyna Nana galloped on the heels of My Waverly Queen on the first turn. Dyna Nana, Tinker Bob and Allen Gantz collided on the third turn checking Allen Gantz. Dyna Nana, My Waverly Queen and Tinker Bob collided on the home turn checking Dyna Nana.
Allen Gantz was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Samples were taken from first and third in this event - Coo Coo Coconuts (1st) and Proviso (3rd).
Stewards spoke to Mr. F Hand, the trainer of Proviso regarding the greyhound performing above market expectations. Mr. Hand stated that the greyhound is very immature and as a result the greyhound recieves a considerable amount of interference. Stewards noted Mr. Hands explaination and directed that a sample be taken.
