Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr C Treherne, the trainer of Kinbrae Millie, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Kinbrae Millie last raced on 18 January 2017. Mr Treherne stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal.
A pre-race sample was taken from Crazy Jo Jo upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Sugar Hit Heidi, Beyond The Vally, Cigars On Ice, Colden Star and Alexanderia collided soon after the start, checking Beyond The Vally and Cigars On Ice. Kinbrae Millie, Beyond The Vally and Alexanderia collided approaching the first turn, checking Beyond The Vally and Alexanderia. Beyond The Vally checked off Kinbrae Millie on the first turn. Kinbrae Millie checked off Colden Star approaching the home turn. Sugar Hit Heidi and Crazy Jo Jo collided in the home straight. Beyond The Vally and Alexanderia collided in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to trainer, Ms C Schembri, regarding the direction that the greyhound Molly Walker be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
