Wicked Hillary and Red Lagoon collided approaching the home turn. Rythym Taboo eased entering the home straight, checking Red Lagoon and Wicked Hillary. Stewards spoke to Ms Julie Chilcott, the representative of the greyhound Rythym Taboo, regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight. Rythym Taboo was vetted, and revetted following event four. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to left sesamoid injury and carpal sprain of the right wrist, a seven-day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Rythym Taboo with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge, Rythym Taboo was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Wrecker One was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing on the left hind foot. A 21-day stand down period was imposed.

Call Me Waylan went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Little Black Joe and Princess Roman collided on the first turn. Parsnip faltered entering the back straight and was tailed off. Little Black Joe and Princess Roman collided approaching the home turn.

Parsnip was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a grade 1-2 injury to the right gracilis (back) muscle. A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Cameron Taylor, trainers representative, in regard to the greyhound's performance; no further action was taken.

Stewards spoke to Ms Pia Triaca, the trainer of Legend regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Legend last raced on 13 March, 2017. Ms Triaca stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a spell.

Deadline To Meet was quick to begin. Zipping Vito was slow to begin.

Roger's In Town, Benlura, Matt Machine and Legend collided approaching the first turn, checking Benlura. Black Mumbo and Weekend Binge collided approaching the first turn.
