It's A Plane was slow to begin. Aston Harvey and Ok Jake collided on the first turn. Dr. Leonardo and Happy Tails collided approaching the second turn checking Happy Tails and Billy's Bake which stumbled. Aston Harvey, Dr. Leonardo, Happy Tails and Billy's Bake collided on the second turn checking all four greyhounds. Ok Jake raced wide on the second turn and entering the front straight. Ok Jake and Erica Mckenna collided in the home straight checking Erica Mckenna. Big Daddy Bee tired over the concluding stages.

The start of this event was delayed by 4 minutes due to the scheduling between races and the amount of time taken to remove the handicap boxes from the track.

Rockalot was quick to begin. Clovally Granite turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the event. Archaeology, Oshkosh Erny Vee and Pistachios collided approaching the first turn checking Oshkosh Erny Vee and Pistachios. Allen Sharpie galloped on the heels of Oshkosh Erny Vee on the first turn. Daicos checked off Oshkosh Erny Vee on the first turn and collided with Allen Sharpie. Headline News checked off Pistachios approaching the second turn. Allen Sharpie checked off Headline News on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Daicos and Allen Sharpie collided in the home straight.

Clovally Granite was was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards established that Clovally Granite turned in the boxes.  Acting under GAR 52(1) Clovally Granite was placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks).

Dirk Bale was quick to begin. Rockoon, Dyna Orenthal and Verne Allen collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Orenthal and Verne Allen. Paxton Bale checked off Alpha Aion approaching the first turn. Dyna Orenthal and Verne Allen collided on the first turn checking Dyna Orenthal. Cibulkova and Rockoon collided on the first turn. Verne Allen and Paxton Bale collided approaching the home turn. Paxton Bale and Dyna Orenthal collided approaching the home turn checking Dyna Orenthal and severly checking Paxton Bale.

Dakini Allen and Precious Destini were quick to begin. Onya Teddy, Midnight Treat, Barnes Banana and Solo collided on the first turn checking Midnight Treat and Barnes Banana. Dakini Allen, Onya Teddy, Barnes Banana and Solo collided entering the front straight checking Dakini Allen. Precious Destini, Solo and Militant Man collided on the second turn checking Militant Man and severely checking Solo which fell as a result. Onya Teddy eased on the second turn and collided with Barnes Banana, checking Barnes Banana which raced wide as a result. Precious Destini, Midnight Treat and Whispering Soul collided entering the home straight.

Solo was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr M Meyer, the trainer of the greyhound Onya Teddy regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the second turn.  Onya Teddy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Onya Teddy with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Meyer pleaded not guilty to the charge, Onya Teddy was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Petra Allen and Waleonjon collided soon after the start checking Petra Allen. Waleonjon and Zipping Hawk collided on the first turn. Waleonjon, Beanbag and Zipping Hawk collided in the back straight checking Zipping Hawk. Beanbag and Zipping Hawk collided on the third turn checking Beanbag. Telarah Flash, Petra Allen, Beanbag and Chezzy Allen collided approaching the home turn checking Chezzy Allen.

John John Lava was slow to begin. Blue Gum Hill, Zippy Daph and Moneypenny collided on the first turn. Rock Me and Daithy Allen collided on the first turn. Gabrielle Allen and John John Lava collided in the front straight checking Gabrielle Allen. John John Lava and Moneypenny collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Gabrielle Allen contacted the running rail approaching the third turn. John John Lava and Rippin Hayne collided on the third turn checking Rippin Hayne. Lady Isabella and Helen Allen collided on the first turn and approaching the second turn checking Helen Allen. Black Impala and Drysdale Doll collided on the second turn checking Drysdale Doll. Dr. Darkrai and Meehan Sox collided on the second turn checking Dr. Darkrai. Got One Back checked off Drysdale Doll in the back straight. Meehan Sox and Drysdale Doll collided approaching the home turn checking Drysdale Doll. Lady Isabella raced wide in the home straight.

Drysdale Doll was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mutant was a late scratching at 6.41pm  following a phone call from trainer Mr D. Pell, indicating that the vehicle transporting his greyhound had broken down. A 28-day stand down period has been applied to this greyhound under Rule 31, which will be lifted if and when Mr Pell provides to the Stewards, evidence as to the occurrence of the mechanical problem.  Mr Pell was advised that he will be fined if evidence of the breakdown fails to be provided.
