A pre race sample was taken from Rock Me Baby.
Sir Fancy was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Try Me and Rock Me Baby collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Rozehill Beth, Peter's Pride and About To Cry collided on the first turn severely checking Rozehill Beth and causing Rozehill Beth and Try Me to fall checking Sir Fancy.
Rozehill Beth was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right hock. No stand down period was imposed.
Try Me was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left foreleg, right hind leg and nose. No stand down period was imposed.
