Indira's Girl was quick to begin. Grey Grouse was slow to begin. Grey Grouse was checked off Bigtime Raider soon after the start. Sultan's Boy and Urban Enforcer collided approaching the first turn. Sultan's Boy lost considerable ground approaching the first turn. Urban Enforcer and Long Live Sid collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Urban Enforcer. Grey Grouse and Long Live Sid collided entering the home straight. Lucky Andy, Grey Grouse and Long Live Sid collided in the home straight. Bigtime Raider and Indira's Girl collided in the home straight.
Sultan's Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right triangle muscle and an abrasion to the left hind toe, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
