Meehan Deano, Gold Odessa and Let's Run were slow to begin. Shirley Bass crossed to the rail on the first turn. Penny Pop, She's Dee Rocket and Wrecker One collided on the first turn. Meehan Deano, Gold Odessa and Let's Run collided entering the back straight checking Meehan Deano and Let's Run. Meehan Deano checked off Crickets Dash entering the back straight. Wrecker One checked off Gold Odessa on the second turn. Meehan Deano raced wide entering the home straight. Wrecker One and Gold Odessa collided entering the home straight. Penny Pop and Crickets Dash collided in the home straight. Meehan Deano raced wide in the home straight.
Penny Pop was vetted following the event at the request of the handler, Mr. D. Chapman. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
