Ablazin Mikado, Blue Squirrel and Azza were slow to begin.
Ablazin Mikado crossed to the outside soon after the start and raced wide for the remainder of the event. Aruma Girl and Road To Nhill collided at the 300m mark. Ablazin Mikado checked off the heels of Blue Squirrel approaching the 250m mark. Aruma Girl and Arashundi collided approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Ms Marian Boyle regarding her failure to catch the greyhound Road To Nhill following the event. Stewards issued a fine of $50 under GAR 48.
