Steward's Report
Fallen Star was a late scratching at 13:40 due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre race sample was taken from About To Cry.
Black Bindi and About To Cry were quick to begin. Another Hope was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Joni Sunset and Bar The Bullet collided soon after the start. Cash Ownley and Willowvale Wings collided on the first turn. Willowvale Wings faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off. Another Hope checked off Joni Sunset entering the home straight.
Willowvale Wings was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock and was humanely euthanased.
