Zulu Zoe was quick to begin. Diamond Delight and Sisco Knight collided soon after the start. Blue Cat Wombat and Dr. Condor collided soon after the start checking Dr. Condor. Blue Cat Wombat checked off Zulu Zoe approaching the first turn. Dr. Condor checked off Blue Cat Wombat on the first turn. I'm Livin' It and Sisco Knight collided on the first turn. Diamond Delight and Call Me Matt collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Blue Cat Wombat and Sisco Knight collided approaching the second turn checking Sisco Knight and Call Me Matt. Sisco Knight and Call Me Matt collided entering the back straight severely checking Call Me Matt; Sisco Knight fell as a result.
Sisco Knight was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
