No Excuse was slow to begin. Dyna Lanto and Celestial Emma collided soon after the start checking Celestial Emma. Celestial Emma contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Giant Bale and Dyna Ianto collided approaching the first turn. Jumbo Bale checked off Dyna Lanto on the home turn causing Jumbo Bale to race wide. No Excuse checked off Sweet Spud in the home straight. Giant Bale checked off No Excuse in the home straight.
Celestial Emma was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left stifle, a 10 day stand period was imposed.
