Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Destini Wahoo.
Oppie Bale was quick to begin. Philo Bale and Gabrielle Allen collided soon after the start. Chezzy Allen, Destini Wahoo and Mister Brown collided approaching the first turn. Archie Fields and Destini Wahoo collided on the first turn. Philo Bale and Gabrielle Allen collided on the first turn, causing both to race wide as a result. Gabrielle Allen checked off Archie Fields in the back straight. Archie Fields veered out and marred Philo Bale approaching the home turn.
Archie Fields was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr N. Koutsourakis, Trainer of the greyhound, Archie Fields. Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Archie Fields with marring. Mr Koutsourakis pleaded guilty to the charge, Archie Fields was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown Park and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
