Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Classy Sparks.
Quick Step was slow to begin. Quick Step, Tiger Butch, Sudden Burst and Galloping Fantom collided approaching the first turn checking Quick Step, Tiger Butch and Galloping Fantom. Classy Sparks and Moneypenny collided on the second turn. Hyundai Hawk lost ground on the second turn. Classy Sparks and Hyundai Hawk collided in the back straight severely checking Classy Sparks and Moneypenny. Tiger Butch raced wide in the back straight. Classy Sparks and Quick Step collided on the third turn.
Hyundai Hawk was vetted following and after being re-vetted following event 11, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Ms. M. Thomas, the trainer of the greyhound Hyundai Hawk. Stewards deemed the performance of Hyundai Hawk unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Hyundai Hawk must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
