Steward's Report
Moonlit Eyes was a late scratching at 10:41am Stewards Non-penalty due to a mechanical breakdown. No stand down period was imposed.
A pre race sample was taken from Good Yarn.
Good Yarn was slow to begin. Saint Fox and Calabasas collided approaching the first turn. Irish Asteria and Olympic Lass collided entering the back straight checking Irish Asteria. Calabasas and Cosmea collided in the home straight checking Cosmea.
Cosmea was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr S Daniliuk, trainer of Cosmea regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. After viewing the head on footage, acting on their own observations and after taking evidence from Mr Daniliuk, Stewards took no further action.
