She Is Creative was a late scratching at 6:20pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a cough. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Major Think was quick to begin.  Sloan, Palladino and Always Alone collided soon after the start and again on the first turn checking Sloan.  Acrostar, Clickin' Gears and Weeona Jimmy collided approaching the home turn severley checking Acrostar.  Always Alone was checked off Weeona Jimmy entering the home straight and collided with Sloan.  Acrostar and Sloan raced wide in the home straight.

Judges inadvertantly semaphored the incorrect numbers 1 8 7 4 this was corrected to 1 8 7 2 before the all clear was given.

Alberto, Can't Believe It and Flying Class were slow to begin.  Flying Class was checked off Hello Bomber soon after the start.  Juggernaut Train and Chromosome Four collided soon after the start checking Chromosome Four.  Pia was checked off Alberto approaching the first turn.  Chromosome Four and Flying Class collided on the first turn.  Juggernaut Train raced wide approaching the home turn and collided several times with Alberto.  Maggie's Alone galloped on Can't Believe It approaching the home turn checking Can't Believe It.  Alberto was checked off Juggernaut Train in the home straight.  Juggernaut Train and Hello Bomber raced wide in the home straight.

Juggernaut Train was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left sesmoid, left monkey muscle and right pencil muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Shytown Hussler, Lucky Tetris and Hone In collided approaching the first turn checking Shytown Hussler and Lucky Tetris.  Dr. Yanma and Hone In collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Hone In and Dr. Sherlock collided approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds checking Shytown Hussler.  Hone In and Dr. Sherlock collided on the home turn.  Lucky Tetris raced wide in the home straight.

Landon was a late scratching at 5:39pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. J. McIntyre was fined the sum of $100.

It's All Over was slow to begin.  Flying Camo and It's All Over collided approaching the first turn.  Lakeview Harley, Get Along Daisy and Tiny Bopper collided on the first turn severley checking Get Along Daisy and Flying Camo, both greyhounds fell severley checking Dr. Leonardo as a result.  Lakeview Harley and It's All Over collided several times approaching the home turn.

Get Along Daisy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left elbow and was humanely euthanased.

Flying Camo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Mr. I. Brown, trainer of My Alibi declared a new weight of 31.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). My Alibi last raced at 30.3kg.
