Steward's Report
Landon was a late scratching at 5:39pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. J. McIntyre was fined the sum of $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Johnny's Return.
It's All Over was slow to begin. Flying Camo and It's All Over collided approaching the first turn. Lakeview Harley, Get Along Daisy and Tiny Bopper collided on the first turn severley checking Get Along Daisy and Flying Camo, both greyhounds fell severley checking Dr. Leonardo as a result. Lakeview Harley and It's All Over collided several times approaching the home turn.
Get Along Daisy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left elbow and was humanely euthanased.
Flying Camo was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
