Steward's Report
Ace Gone Wild was a late scratching at 18.26 on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a carpal sprain to the left foreleg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Indi Allen and Kouta Mayhem were quick to begin. Corleone King checked off Invictus Rapid approaching the first turn. Blackpool Chuck crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Corleone King and severely checking Night Hawk and Indi Allen, causing both greyhounds to loose ground. Indi Allen contacted the rail on the first turn. Rapid Innings checked off Blackpool Chuck in the home straight.
Indi Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained lacerations to the left foreleg, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Night Hawk was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
