Queen Yuna was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hind spike wound, a 7 day stand day stand down period was imposed.

Gregorovitch and Oronsay collided on the first turn and again on the second turn checking Oronsay, Don't Kid Me and severely checking Fabriola Allen which checked Undeniably.  Limburg Dan checked off Don't kid me on the third turn.  Gregorovitch failed to pursue the lure in the home straight. 

Undeniably was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained right pencil muscle soreness, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs L. Cockerall, the handler of the greyhound Gregorovitch regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Gregorovitch was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right deltoids, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Gregorovitch with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs Cockerall pleaded guilty to the charge, Gregorovitch was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cheese Ya Later was scratched by Order of Stewards on Tuesday the 30th of May 2017 at 2:37pm in accordance with GAR20(4)(b). This was as a result of a report received from the Greyhound Racing Victoria Investigations Department which indicated alleged breaches of serious offences of the Greyhound Australasia Rules and Local Racing Rules. The alleged breaches were discovered during a kennel inspection of Mr Euvrard’s property by Animal Welfare Authorised Officers on Monday the 29th of May 2017. An inquiry has been opened and adjourned to a date to be fixed. Further, Mr Euvrard’s license has been suspended pending the outcome of the inquiry in accordance with GAR92(5)(c).
