Ellen's Stardust was quick to begin. He Shall Peter was very slow to begin (3lengths).
Short Blond Hair and Ellen's Stardust collided soon after the start checking Short Blond Hair which stumbled. Newfire Chelle and Ernie's Legacy collided on the first turn checking Newfire Chelle. Ernie's Legacy, Stilton Johnny, Short Blond Hair and Pistol collided on the home turn checking Short Blond Hair and severely checking Ernie's Legacy.
Short Blond Hair was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left calf abrasion, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
