Stewards spoke to Mr Ashley Welsh regarding the direction that the greyhound Yaala be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Tiggerlong Scar was a late scratching at 8.59 AM due to illness (GAR 23). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted

Satisfactory Trial Results - Rocketness trialled over the 400m from box one, weight 27.6kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.74, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 11L. Rocketness was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Philip Tanti, the trainer of Miss Peppa Pea, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Miss Peppa Pea last raced on 30 September 2016. Mr Tanti stated that the greyhound had been seasonal. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Miss Peppa Pea trialled over the 400m from box one, weight 27kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of five. The time of the trial was 23.00, the greyhound won by a margin of 3.25L. Miss Peppa Pea was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Bradley Chapman, the trainer of Beers On Us, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Beers On Us last raced on 24 September 2016. Mr Chapman stated that they greyhound had been recovering from a back muscle injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Beers On Us trialled over the 400m from box three, weight 32.2kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of five. The time of the trial was 23.00, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.25L. Beers On Us was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Majha Male trialled over the 400m from box five, weight 30.6kg, the greyhound was placed fifth in a field of five. The time of the trial was 23.00, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7L. Majha Male was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Leeroy Rox trialled over the 400m from box eight, weight 32.1kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of five. The time of the trial was 23.00, the greyhound beaten by a margin of 4.75L. Leeroy Rox was cleared.
