Steward's Report
A raceday sample was taken from Iconic Chief.
Stewards spoke to Mr Trevor Smart, the trainer of Senor Asher, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Senor Asher last raced on 29 Janurary, 2017. Mr Smart stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after the greyhound had a left hind toe removed.
Ace Marlow went up with the lids at box rise. Iconic Chief was quick to begin.
Senor Asher and Taytor Tot collided soon after the start. Senor Asher checked off the heels of Midnight Kebab approaching the first turn, severely checking Kansas Lane which stumbled as a result. Taytor Tot raced wide on the home turn.
A further (post-race) sample was taken from Iconic Chief, the winner of the event.
