Due to a technical malfunction, the second split time was not recorded. The split time of 11.43 was hand timed by the judges.
Stylish Chief was quick to begin. Daintree Destroy was slow to begin. Daintree Destroy and Minca Man collided soon after the start. Mantra Mick checked off Taytor Tot soon after the start. Taytor Tot and Yarrawalla Lad collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Yarrawalla Lad which pulled up. Daintree Destroy and Minda Man collided approaching the first turn. Stylish Chief, Iceni Outlaw and Cosmic Spur collided approachign the first turn, checking Iceni Outlaw. Mantra Mick, Taytor Tot and Iceni Outlaw collided on the first turn, checking Mantra Mick and Taytor Tot.
