Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr T.Karasavidis, the trainer of Dukestar regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dukestar last raced on 31 January, 2017. Mr Karasavidis stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a change of kennel and a spell.
Hungry Heart and Scrappy Doo were slow to begin. Dukestar and Greysynd Ash collided soon after the start. Aston Groucho and Soda Kid collided soon after the start. Aston Groucho, Soda Kid, Dukestar, Greysynd Ash and Hungry Heart collided approaching the first turn, checking Soda Kid and severely checking Aston Groucho. Scrappy Doo and Soda Kid collided approaching the first turn. Dukestar and Greysynd Ash collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Soda Kid and Scrappy Doo collided entering the home straight. Scrappy Doo and Aston Groucho collided in the home straight. Mahjong Heat and Aston Groucho collided in the home straight, checking Greysynd Ash.
