A pre race sample was taken from Tankster.
Kadalex Kid, Call Me Tickets and Tankster were quick to begin. Paddles Anderson was slow to begin. Kadalex Kid and Call Me Tickets collided on the first turn checking Call Me Tickets. Lissa Breen checked off Call Me Tickets on the second turn. Call Me Tickets and Kadalex Kid collided entering the home straight. Call Me Tickets failed to pursue the lure in the home straight. Call Me Tickets and Kadalex Kid collided approaching the winning post.
Call Me Tickets was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. L. Russell, the representative of the greyhound Call Me Tickets regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Call Me Tickets with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs. Russell pleaded guilty to the charge, Call Me Tickets was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
