Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Trevor Whitford, the trainer of Holyfield, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Holyfield last raced on 9 January 2017. Mr Whitford stated that the greyhound had a change of kennel.
A pre-race sample was taken from Holyfield.
Boydy was quick to begin.
Parto's Price and Holyfield collided soon after the start, checking Holyfield. Robs Rocket and Boydy collided approaching the first turn. Emma's Sparrow checked off Boydy approaching the home turn.
Holyfield was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a tarsal fracture to the right hock. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.
